LOUISVILLE SLUGGER® CONGRATULATES FRANCISCO LIRIANO ON HIS NO-HITTER
LOUISVILLE, KY (May 4, 2011) – Louisville Slugger is not usually a fan of
no-hitters, given their storied position as the official bat of Major League Baseball. But when Francisco Liriano hurled the first no-hitter of the 2011 season last night for the Minnesota Twins, Louisville Slugger was pleased.
Liriano’s fielding glove is a Louisville Slugger TPX® custom 11.75, 2-piece closed web model in navy, based on the FL1175B model.
Chuck Schupp, the manager of Professional Baseball Promotions at Louisville Slugger, congratulated Francisco: “We are thrilled about his accomplishment last night. He showed determination and grit and we are very proud of him.”
Liriano has been under contract with Louisville Slugger since 2008.
