TEAM TPS SWINGING TO DODGER STADIUM FOR
SOFTBALL'S STADIUM POWER TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP
LOUISVILLE, KY (September 15, 2011) – With the 2011 Manufacturer’s Cup team title secured, Tim Cocco and JD Genter from Team TPS head to Dodger Stadium this weekend to battle it out for the individual championship. During the finals on September 18 in Los Angeles, they will also receive the Manufacturer’s Cup trophy they won for Team TPS with a rousing finish in AT&T Park in San Francisco.
This weekend’s finals are the culmination of a successful 13-city stadium power tour that crossed the nation. Just six players, including Cocco and Genter, made the cut to represent their manufacturers at the individual finals in L.A . They’ll be swinging the same Louisville Slugger TPS bats they used to win the Manufacturer’s Cup, which is presented to the team with the highest overall score from the summer-long tour.
The TPS Z-1000 SB12ZE End Load is the bat of choice for Team TPS. This redesigned bat, built with IST technology and a 12'' barrel, certainly gave Genter and Cocco the edge they needed to win this year’s Manufacturer’s Cup.
“It feels great to win the Cup with a Louisville Slugger TPS bat,” Cocco said. “And I couldn’t be happier that my TPS teammate, JD Genter, will join me at the finals in LA. ”
