It's an amateur baseball triple play with Perfect Game, Baseball Youth & Louisville Slugger® Prime Baseball Clubs
LOUISVILLE, KY (May 28, 2013) - Baseball players across America will be leaving their marks on the game this summer, and Louisville Slugger will be leaving its mark on thousands of players at hundreds of events with its Leave Your Mark Tour. The storied and innovative diamond sports brand will showcase its products, have giveaways and provide fun activities for players at Baseball Youth’s Showcase Tour and Perfect Game events, as well as with its 10 Louisville Slugger Prime Baseball Clubs.
"It’s a promotional triple play for amateur baseball,” says Louisville Slugger Manager of Event Marketing Rob Partin. “We’ve got the bases covered with elite amateur players at every age level. It’s going to be a fun summer giving players opportunities to try our innovative bats, gloves and other gear and also have some fun hanging out with us, learning about our great 129-year history as well as our leading-edge technology and innovation in new products."
Part of the tour includes a 34-foot vinyl-wrapped Baseball Youth/Louisville Slugger RV complete with wood-grain Louisville-Slugger-branded Sony PlayStation® gaming consoles.
Louisville Slugger will be in the field 95 days at Perfect Game events from Memorial Day weekend through August. Players can demo products, compete for swag, watch Slugger Guy videos and play video games, among other activities. The Leave Your Mark Tour will be part of Perfect Game events in Marietta, Ga., Fort Myers, Fla., and Phoenix, Ariz. Perfect Game players will have access to Louisville Slugger’s innovative MLB Prime™ bats, the same high-quality wood swung by players in the Major Leagues. The Leave Your Mark Tour will be part of 345 events with Baseball Youth this summer, including the Louisville Slugger Showcase Tour. The Baseball Youth/Louisville Slugger RV will visit 75 of the top events to provide players with the Louisville Slugger Experience, which includes a partnership with MLB® Academy. Players can compare their own swings to those of MLB players, demo Louisville Slugger bats, win prizes and get their video games on with the Louisville Slugger Sony PlayStations. LOUISVILLE SLUGGER PRIME BASEBALL CLUBS
Louisville Slugger has partnered with 10 of the highest-level travel ball clubs in America to create Louisville Slugger Prime Baseball Clubs. The ten clubs include the Dallas Patriots (Texas); Evoshield Canes (Mid-Atlantic); FTB/Florida Travel Ball (Florida); Ironmen (Kentucky and Indiana); Kentucky Baseball Club (Lexington); Orlando Scorpions (Florida); South Florida Elite (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale); Team Elite (Greater Atlanta, Ga.); Tri-State Arsenal (New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania), and Warriors (St. Louis). These 10 elite travel ball clubs have a combined 175 teams playing from 18U to 8U.
"These are great partnerships for us and the clubs,” Partin said. “We’ll be able to provide the latest gear to these clubs. They’ll have access to premium products while we get to conduct market research and product testing with elite players. At Louisville Slugger, we exist to make players great. We’ll be learning what elite youth players want and need to be great, so we can bring those products to the field in the future."
Louisville Prime Baseball Clubs will leave their marks on the diamond this summer with the Attack, Exogrid 3 and Omaha bats from Louisville Slugger.
