Instructions for having your ASA non-compliant FPC305 (-8) Catalyst returned

Through random retesting the ASA has recently found the FPC305 (-8) Catalyst fastpitch model configured in length/weight ratios of 32/24, 33/25, and 34/26 to be non-compliant, and added to the ASA’s Non Approved List. Please note that the FPC205 (-10) Catalyst fastpitch offered in length/weight ratios of 31/21, 32/22, 33/23, and 34/24 and the Catalyst Slow-pitch bat is not affected.

If you have a FPC305 (-8) and a valid store receipt you may contact Louisville Slugger for a return authorization (RA) number. This RA number and a valid receipt will allow you to send the ASA non approved FPC305 (-8) bat back to Louisville Slugger.

There are two ways to obtain an RA number, you may click “Warranty” on our web site (www.slugger.com) and follow the instructions or you may call us at 1-800-282-2287 and press 1 for Customer Service; Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

Once your FPC305 (-8) is received and all information verified, we will replace the bat per your request based on one of the following options:

FPC305 IN 32” OR 33”

1. Please be aware that if you do not play ASA sanctioned softball, you can still use the FPC305, as it remains eligible for NSA, USSSA and ISF
2. We can replace immediately with the FPC205 (-10) Catalyst
3. We can replace with the new FP72C (-8) Catalyst2, this bat will be available in early February of 2006.

FPC305 IN A 34”

1. Please be aware that if you do not play ASA sanctioned softball, you can still use the FPC305, as it remains eligible for NSA, USSSA and ISF
2. We can replace immediately with the SB206-26 (34”/26oz) ASA approved Catalyst
3. We can replace immediately with the FPC205 (-10) Catalyst
4. We can replace with the new FP72C (-8) Catalyst2, this bat will be available in early February of 2006.

The replacement bat will fulfill your original warranty, which is one year from your store’s receipt date.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause and we will issue a UPS Call Tag to have the bat picked up from you; this will save you the cost of shipping the bat to us. If you obtain an RA # On-Line we ask that you call us to have the UPS Call Tag issued. You will need to have the bat packed in a corrugated carton or shipping tube prior to UPS picking up the bat. We will also be shipping the replacement bat back to you via UPS 3 Day Select, paid by Louisville Slugger.
